Adding Wallets
This guide walks you through adding wallets to TokenLab for trading operations. You can either import existing wallets or generate new ones.
Wallet Types
Before adding wallets, understand the three types available:
Trading Wallets
Purpose: Execute buy/sell operations
Recommended: 2-10 wallets for diversified strategies
Requirements: SOL balance for transactions
Creation Wallets
Purpose: Create new tokens
Recommended: 1-2 dedicated wallets
Requirements: Higher SOL balance (0.5+ SOL)
Bundle Wallets
Purpose: Coordinated bundle trading
Recommended: 5-20 wallets for maximum impact
Requirements: Distributed SOL balances
Adding Your First Wallet
Step 1: Access Wallet Management
Navigate to Dashboard: Ensure you're on the Trading tab
Locate Wallet Panel: Find "Wallet Management" in the left column
Click "Add Wallet": Green button in the management actions section
Step 2: Choose Import Method
Option A: Import Existing Wallet
Select "Import Wallet"
Paste your private key
Verify the address matches your expectation
Option B: Generate New Wallet
Select "Generate New Wallet"
System creates a new wallet automatically
Important: Save the private key immediately
Step 3: Configure Wallet Settings
Wallet Name (Optional):
Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Main Trading", "Bundle 1")
Helps identify wallets in the interface
Leave blank to use shortened address
Wallet Type Selection:
Trading: For regular buy/sell operations
Creation: For token creation activities
Bundle: For coordinated trading strategies
Step 4: Verify Addition
After adding, your wallet appears in the wallet table:

Critical Security Warning:
Never share private keys with anyone
TokenLab encrypts keys but you're responsible for backup
Use different wallets for different strategies
Consider hardware wallets for large amounts
Private Key Management
Secure Storage:
Write down private keys on paper
Store in multiple secure locations
Use password managers for digital copies
Never store in browser or cloud unencrypted
Access Control:
Only add wallets on trusted devices
Clear browser data after use on shared computers
Use incognito/private browsing when possible
Log out completely when finished
Adding Multiple Wallets
Batch Import Strategy
For efficient multi-wallet setup:
Prepare Wallets: Generate or gather multiple private keys
Add Sequentially: Import one wallet at a time
Name Systematically: Use consistent naming (e.g., "Trading-1", "Trading-2")
Verify Each: Check address and balance before proceeding

Beginner Setup (2-3 wallets):

1 Creation wallet
Intermediate Setup (5-8 wallets):
3-4 Trading wallets
1-2 Creation wallets
2-3 Bundle wallets

Funding Your Wallets
SOL Distribution Strategy
Trading Wallets:
0.1-1.0 SOL per wallet
Keep balances varied for natural trading patterns
Reserve extra SOL for transaction fees
Creation Wallets:
0.5-2.0 SOL per wallet
Higher amounts needed for token creation
Factor in metadata and initial liquidity costs
Bundle Wallets:
0.05-0.5 SOL per wallet
Distribute total budget across multiple wallets
Coordinate amounts for synchronized operations
Transfer Best Practices
Funding Sources:
Use exchange withdrawals to different addresses
Space transfers over time to avoid patterns
Vary amounts to maintain natural appearance
Transfer Security:
Double-check recipient addresses
Start with small test amounts
Verify receipts before large transfers
Wallet Verification
Balance Updates
After funding wallets:
Manual Refresh: Click "Update Balances" if needed
Automatic Sync: Platform updates balances periodically
Blockchain Verification: Check Solscan for confirmation
Connection Testing
Test Transactions:
Start with small amounts
Verify successful transaction execution
Monitor for any error messages
State Monitoring:
Ensure wallets show "IDLE" status
Check for any "ERROR" states

"Invalid Private Key":
Verify private key format (base58)
Check for extra spaces or characters
Ensure key belongs to Solana wallet
"Wallet Already Exists":
Check if wallet was previously added
